Valorant Champions Tour 2024; Teams and new points system

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 will be starting next month. Multiple top-tier teams across different regions will face each other at the International Leagues and three global tournaments.

This year’s VCT will also be bringing changes to its point system and how teams will move forward. A total of 44 teams across the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China will be taking part in VCT 2024.

New point system

Teams will be earning points from regular season matches, regional tournaments, and international tournaments. The region’s Kick-off tournament winner will earn three points. Following that, the Masters Madrid or Masters Shanghai winner will also be awarded three points.

Additionally, stages one and two during play-offs will award one point per match win. The top two seeds from the play-offs will receive bonus points for their performance. There will be plenty of matches in Stage One and Stage Two for teams to rake up the points.
