Pakistan is the most successful country when it comes to Hockey World Cups. Pakistan have four World Cups under their belt ever since the inception of the tournament. They even registered the wins when India and Pakistan rivalry and dominance was at its peak. Pakistan has four Hockey World Cups under their belt with them winning in 1971, 1978, 1982 and 1984.
They also have two silver medals when they failed to win in 1975 and 1990. Pakistan also finished in fourth place in 1973.
Notably, team India are one of the few teams to have participated in the all World Cups. They have managed to win the perennial tournament twice and would be looking to win their third title in the upcoming edition.
