Over the years, there have been many players who have been traded by franchises in exchange of different players.

Quinton De Kock RCB to MI

In the 2019 edition of the IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore initiated the IPL’s inaugural trade by sending South African batsman Quinton de Kock to Mumbai Indians, where he scored 927 runs in 34 matches. Acquired by RCB for INR 2.8 crore in 2018, Mumbai Indians secured him at the same price. To balance the trade, they released Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman (INR 2.2 crore) and Sri Lanka’s Akila Dananjaya (INR 50 lakh). This marked a significant move in the IPL trading landscape, showcasing player exchanges between franchises.
