As the FIFA World Cup 2022 nears its end, all eyes have been set on the final between Argentina and France in Qatar. On one side there are the mighty France who, despite all their struggles with injury have still managed to roll over others. On the other, however, is a player who is just one win away from being considered in the leagues of all-time greats. Lionel Messi’s win in the final would certainly bring him a few notches clear of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The FIFA World Cup has not only engrossed the fan and the normal public, but the footballing extravaganza also seems to have the same effect on Bollywood actors as well. in a recent AMA on Twitter Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan answered a lot of questions about his upcoming movie Pathan.
Among all the questions, however, there was one that has football fans excited. When Shahrukh was asked who he would be rooting for in the final on Sunday, the 57-year-old gave quite an honest answer.

He said that although France’s Kylian Mbappa is a treat to watch, his heart wants the Argentinian to win the tournament in his last appearance. When a fan asked, “Who are you supporting in the world cup final tomorrow #AskSRK,” Shah Rukh replied, “Arre yaar the heart says Messi no?? But Mbappe is a treat to watch also.”
