‘Thala yoda new awatharam’ – Fans ecstatic after Dhoni’s production company reveals title of first Tamil film

Dhoni Entertainment announced releasing of their first Tamil movie three months back; now the production house has divulged information about the cast and crew. The company is run by former Indian captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni. The company has revealed the title of the film. ‘LGM – Let’s Get Married’. This highly anticipated movie will look to strike a chord with Dhoni’s massive fan base in Tamil Nadu and particularly in Chennai.

According to reports, the movie will have the likes of stars Harish Kalyan and Ivana. The film will be directed by the experienced and capable hands of Ramesh Thamilmani. The film, which is already creating a lot of buzz amongst the fans, will look to be a great piece of work and break records when it hits theatres and the masses.

In a press release that was made by the company, DEPL said, “Reinforcing this extra special relationship further, Dhoni Entertainment will be producing its first film in Tamil, a family entertainer conceptualized by Sakshi Singh Dhoni, MD of Dhoni Entertainment”. Dhoni has had an unbreakable bond with the people of Chennai and more so from 2008 when he made the Chennai cricket franchise into an unstoppable side with a great legacy in the Indian T20 League.

The actor Harish made everyone take notice after his film Pyaar Prema Kaddhal which shot him into the reckoning. Ivana has also done notable works in the film industry with a blockbuster such as Love Today, which was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan.

The vision of DEPL would be to expand its footprint over Tamil Nadu and also become a major player in the film industry when it comes to South India. They are looking to expand productions in other languages such as Telugu and Malayalam. This venture has made the bond between Dhoni and Chennai even stronger. The fans will hope that this enterprise which is owned by their “Thala” will stay on for a long time to come.
