The India-Pakistan clash in the 20-20 World Cup left the entire cricketing fraternity awestruck with the ebbs and flows of the riveting game. The colossal game brought the world to a standstill as the audience was left gasping for breath.

Virat Kohli emerged as the hero of the game with his scintillating knock of 83 of 52 balls which helped India snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Google CEO Sundar Pichai also enjoyed the thrilling match and expressed his happiness after India’s win.

Pichai took to Twitter on Monday to wish everyone on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. He also congratulated the Indian Cricket Team and said that he watched the last three overs of the match again on Monday.

“Happy Diwali! Hope everyone celebrating has a great time with your friends and family. I celebrated by watching the last three overs again today, what a game and performance #Diwali #TeamIndia #T20WC2022,” Pichai tweeted.

A Pakistan fan replied to Pichai’s tweet and asked him to watch the first three overs of the match as well. “you should watch 1st three overs,” he tweeted. Apparently, the fan was referring to the first three overs of the second innings.

However, the Google CEO came up with a witty reply and wrote, “Did that too:) what a spell from Bhuvi and Arshdeep.”

The Indian pace duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh were relentless at the start of the innings as they built the pressure on the Pakistan openers. Arshdeep Singh removed Pakistan captain Babar Azam on his first ball of the match by trapping him in front of the stumps. He further got the wicket of the dangerous Mohammad Rizwan who top-edged a short ball to the fine leg.

Despite losing their star openers early on in the innings, Pakistan managed to reach a decent total of 159 after their allotted 20 overs. India had a miserable start to chase as they lost four wickets on just 31. Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli took the team out of trouble with their 113-run-stand. The game had a spectacular finish courtesy of a Virat Kohli masterclass who remained unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls as India chased the target on the final ball of the match.
