‘Stop saying “Ee sala cup namde’ – Fans react as frustrated RCB supporter gives pointers for team management to act on in IPL 2024

Royal Challengers Bangalore crashed out of the IPL 2023 after they lost their last game to the Gujarat Titans by 6 wickets. The Faf du Plessis-led side could not make the cut into the playoffs for IPL 2023 because they played some very inconsistent cricket. RCB have had their big moments in the season, but they were not able to get a string of wins when it mattered most. The Bold Army will rue two close losses against Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants at home.
A frustrated RCB supporter has lamented and told his tale of woe. He said that the management has to come up with a concrete plan on how they can win an IPL trophy. It is interesting to note that the Bold Army has not been able to get their hands on a trophy in 16 editions of the tournament. They have managed to make it to the finals thrice in 2009, 2011, and 2016. The fan said that the management should be sacked, and the team should be handed over to the fans.

He said that fans will take over the side and raise funds for the franchise out of their own accord. He further said those RCB fans who keep shouting “Ee sala cup namde” are not true RCB fans. The supporter further indicated that true RCB fans are those who stick with the team through thick and thin. He said loyal fans are only those who have unwavering support for the side. The fan said that the management has repeatedly brought players who do not make a perfect fit into the composition of the side.
The supporter then pointed out another glaring fact. This was discussed on Cricbuzz Live by Gaurav Kapur, Harsha Bhogle and Joy Bhattacharya. They talked about RCB not having a gun Indian batter other than Virat Kohli in their ranks. They also talked about the problem of Indian batters and Karnataka batters not doing well at RCB and them finding a reason to leave the franchise. The supporter further conveyed that RCB can’t win a championship with three or four players alone but with a strong solid team.

He is right…I mean there is no Indian batsman in the team who can take the responsibility after Kohli and neither a good bowling line-up all the bowlers just have full level attitude and do nothing …if RCB scores 200+ no can say they will win …
Gayle once said RCB's biggest problem is total focus on Big 3(both in his time and now). Other players dont feel they are part of the team. Even Watson, Moeen etc echoed the same. RCB only cares about selling shirts, filling stadiums; least concerned about winning a title.
What he said is right. Unless the Indian players perform, an IPL team can never win the Tournament.
