Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar is known for her bold remarks and daring personality. The actress never holds back and is always ahead to keep her opinions on current affairs. Amidst the chaos brewing on social media regarding the Israel attacks, the actress opens up about her opinions. Swara gets candid and calls the people’s shock and horror at the attacks on Israel by the Hamas militants a ‘bit hypocrite.’

On Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the country at war. This happened after an unprecedented assault by Hamas militants from Gaza. Many celebrities and actors like Gal Gadot who hails from Israel got candid about the war and its destruction happening on both sides. Now, Kangana Ranaut and Swara Bhaskar are some of the few Indian celebrities who have come out to speak their truth and raise their voices on this issue.

Swara Bhaskar slams the hypocrites:

Swara slammed the people who reacted in shock to the attacks by Hamas. Meanwhile, Kangana stood in solitary with Israel. On Sunday, taking it to her official Instagram stories, the actress shared, “If you have not felt shock and horror at Israel’s unending atrocities on Palestinians. The forcible occupation of Palestinian homes, the forced evictions. The bigotry and violence of settler Israelis, and the murder of Palestinian children and teenagers. The decades-long blockade and bombing of Gaza and civilians in Gaza, including the bombing of schools and hospitals (not to mention the apartheid and occupation). Then I’m afraid your shock and horror at Hamas’ attacks on Israel seem a bit hypocritical.”

On Saturday, Kangana had written to her stories saying, “Impossible to scroll through social media and not get jolted, scarred, appalled or deeply disturbed’ looking at pictures of Israeli women being attacked by ‘terrorists’. Swara Bhasker has denounced Israel in the past as well. As the conflict between Palestinian activists and Israeli soldiers in East Jerusalem grew more violent in 2021, she referred to Israel as an “apartheid state.”
