Road Safety World Series 2022 is turning out to be a cracker and there have been many thrilling matches already. The teams are toiling it hard to clinch the title for a noble cause. In match seven of the series, Bangladesh Legends will take on New Zealand Legends at Green Park, Kanpur. Here’s the match preview for the clash between Bangladesh Legends and New Zealand Legends:
Bangladesh Legends lost their first match against West Indies Legends on the back of poor performance. However, the team has all the chances to make a strong comeback in the second outing against New Zealand Legends.
Bangladesh’s star bowler Abdur Razzak produced an economical spell in the first match against West Indies legends. He’ll look the bring on some magic with his slow left-arm orthodox in the second match as well.
The batting all-rounder fared out well with the ball in the last game. Although he perished after scoring just a single run with the bat, he picked up a scalp with the ball and conceded less than ten runs.
Alok Kapali, the all-rounder, turned out to be the star with the ball as he picked up a scalp. He also scored 19 valuable runs for his team, although at a losing cause.
New Zealand Legends lost their first match of the tournament too and succumbed to just 99 runs in the first innings. South Africa Legends crushed the Kiwi veterans in the latter’s first outing. The Black Caps will look to turn things around in the second outing.
Dean Brownlie is definitely a player to watch out for in the match against Bangladesh Legends. The player toyed with the South African bowlers, although it came in a losing cause.
The New Zealand legend will look to make the best use of the opportunity against the Bengal Tigers veterans. The player failed to fire in the first outing and will look to compensate for the same in the second outing.
There was a time when the bowler threatened every single batter with his action and pace. In the first outing, the veteran carried on from where he left in his last match. Shane Bond can create havoc in Bangladesh’s middle order.
Green Park, Kanpur will host the match and the teams winning the toss must elect to bowl first. Teams have won chasing at this venue most of the time and one must bet on it.
