Ravindra Jadeja is tailormade for the T20 format. He can come and bowl his four overs quickly, he can bat in the middle order and also as a finisher, and is a livewire in the field. Ravindra Jadeja has also been a champion in the Indian T20 League. He was under the tutelage and mentorship of Shane Warne when he played for the Rajasthan side in 2008. He played impactful innings in that edition and was one of the bright sparks for Rajasthan in that season.
It all began to change for the better for Ravindra Jadeja in 2013 when he found a home in yellow where he was picked up by the Chennai side. He became a different beast altogether under Mahendra Singh Dhoni, where he got ample opportunities to express himself and that changed him as a person.
He just transformed as a player and became a vital part of the Chennai side. The all-rounder has played a lot of game-changing knocks for the Chennai team in the middle order and as a finisher and has also turned games around with his bowling when he had helpful conditions at the pitches in Chennai which aided his style of bowling.
In the 2022 season of the Indian T20 League, Ravindra Jadeja was made the captain of the Chennai side, but he found the going tough as he had big shoes to fill since Dhoni had an outstanding record as a captain of Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja’s debut season as skipper did not go as planned. He did not have a good season because the runs dried up and the wickets didn’t come.
When the season was going on Ravindra Jadeja was suddenly axed as skipper and MS Dhoni was reappointed this move appeared to have made things worse between Jadeja and Chennai. However, as per the reports coming in, all appears to have been forgotten and Jadeja will continue to don the yellow jersey,
