Ravichandran Ashwin predicts Hyderabad franchise’s probable Playing XI for Indian T20 League 2023

The Hyderabad franchise finished in the eighth position with 12 points from 14 matches.

All franchises of the Indian T20 League participated in the much-mini-auction for the Indian T20 League 2023 on 23 December 2022. Like other franchises, Hyderabad added some quality players to their retained players list. Now, they will look to do well in the upcoming season after finishing in the eighth position in the last season.

However, they made headlines when they bought the England batter, Henry Brook for a  whopping amount of INR 13.25 Crores. Hyderabad even paid INR 8.25 Crores for the former Punjab skipper, Mayank Agarwal. Now, the India spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin came up with the probable playing XI of the Hyderabad franchise for the next season on his YouTube channel.

Speaking of the video, Ashwin chose Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma as the openers. Then, he picked Rahul Tripathi as the suited number three batter. In the middle order, Ashwin considered Aiden Markram and Harry Brook. The veteran Indian spinner also picked Markram as their skipper.

Then, he said that Glenn Phillips or Heinrich Klassen will play in the further order to strengthen the batting depth. In the bowling department, he considered Washington Sundar, Adil Rashid, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Umran Malik. Therefore, the veteran spinner went with three pacers along with two spin-bowling options.
