ITC Grand Goa, as described on the ITC Hotel website, is a 246-room resort spread over 45 acres of lush landscaped area with direct access to the immaculate, sun-drenched Arossim Beach. There are Indo-Portuguese design elements on the property. Makemytrip.com reports that the ITC Grand Goa hotel’s rooms start at ₹19,000 plus taxes and go up to ₹75,000 plus taxes per night. In response to requests to consider Indian options, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani recently decided at the last minute to switch their wedding location from abroad to India.
In Goa, Rakul Preet and Jackky will celebrate their marriage for three days. The pre-wedding rituals will begin on February 19 and the wedding is set for February 21. The three-day events in Goa will be as environmentally friendly as possible, according to a report from HT City. A source revealed, “The couple and their family have not sent out any physical invitations. Furthermore, there will never be a cracker pop.”
On board with Rakul Preet and Jackky are individuals who map carbon footprints. The source continued, “These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during this couple’s wedding ceremonies. The number of trees that must be planted in accordance with the footprint will then be disclosed to them. It’s definitely a novel step to take. Either the day after the wedding or right away after, the couple will plant it themselves.”
