On Sunday, January 28, Ranbir Kapoor wowed the crowd with a high-energy performance at the 69th Filmfare Awards in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Entering the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Rockstar actor drove a replica of Animal‘s machine gun and made his entrance dressed as ‘Animal’. His performance of the “Jamal Kudu” hook step with his audience-seated wife Alia Bhatt was the high point of his show.

Shaking a leg while holding a glass on the head is part of the hook steps. While they replicated the popular hook step, Ranbir also gave Alia Bhatt a cheek kiss. Their fans cheered them on as their adorable video quickly went viral on social media.
