It all started in Lucknow between Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, and Naveen-ul-Haq. Virat was involved in fights with Gautam Gambhir and Naveen-ul-Haq during the match between Royal challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Supergiant in Lucknow in the Indian premier League 2023. Since then, not everything seemed to be right between these individuals. Since then, they had not interacted with each other.
Come the ODI World Cup 2023, the three have come together to take part in a single tournament, although in different roles. Virat is playing in the Indian team as the batter. Naveen is playing in Afghanistan as the bowler. Gambhir is in the dugout as a commentator and analyst from Star Sports. This time around, everything seems to be changed.
During the match between India and Afghanistan, Virat and Naveen put an end to the fight between each other which started in the IPL 2023. The two cricketers acknowledged each other, hugged each other, and put an end to the differences between them. During the match, Virat asked the crowd to not mock Naveen from here on. The move of Virat seemed to have impressed the former Indian cricketer, Gautam Gambhir.

Gambhir appreciated the gesture of Virat during the post-match show in Star Sports.Β “It was a great gesture from Virat Kohli to ask the crowd not to mock Naveen, I hope in coming matches, in different venues, fans don’t troll him, everyone has done lots of sacrifices, you can support or not but don’t mock him,” said Gambhir.
Virat and Naveen put an end to their fight in the match between India and Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup 2023. After the match, the two interacted with each other and had some funny conversations.
