‘Para Ziva’- MS Dhoni’s daughter receives a signed Argentina jersey from FIFA World Cup winner Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi finally got the trophy that had eluded him all his life. In his last ever World Cup event, the diminutive Argentinian took Argentina to their third World Cup win and wrote his name into the history books.
With this win, not just he took a huge jump from Cristiano Ronaldo but also claimed the top spot in football folklore. The 35-year-old is now being considered ‘The Greatest footballer of all time” by many fans and football experts alike.
Naturally receiving a signed shirt from Messi would take anyone over the moon. Something like this has happened to MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni as well. The piece of positive news was shared by Shakshi Dhoni, former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s wife, on Instagram
With a post captioned, “Like father, like daughter!” Shakshi shared two pictures of Ziva wearing the Messi shirt and looking happy. The autogtaph on the shirt read, “Para Ziva” with Messi’s signature underneath. ‘Para’ in Spanish means ‘for’. The post was shared on the official Instagram account of Ziva Singh Dhoni which is handled by her mother Sakshi. The post has since then garnered more than 300K likes and thousands of comments.
Argentina won this year’s World Cup after beating France in the high scoring final that ended in a 3-3 draw in the 120 minutes. The game went to the penalties and it was where Emi Martinez of Argentina held the nerves and saved two goals from France to take Argentina across the finish line.
Lionel Messi was chosen as the Golden ball winner for being the best player of the tournament whereas France’s Kylian Mbappe was given the Golden Shoe for scoring the most number of goals at the mega event in Qatar.
Dhoni meanwhile is currently preparing for the upcoming Indian T20 League 2023 season where he will be leading the Chennai Franchise. The South Indian club has recently bought the services of England Test captain Ben Stokes for a record price of INR 16.25 Crores at the mini-auction held on 23rd December 2022.
