‘Our privacy was hurt…’ – Shaheen Afridi disappointed on leaked photos of his wedding surfacing on the internet

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi married the daughter of Shahid Afridion 3rd February in Karachi. It was an occasion that was meant to be unforgettable but there was a big blot on their wedding as hours before the couple officially put out wedding videos and pictures concerning the wedding, there were some videos which were leaked and did the rounds on social media. This flared up Shaheen’s temper to no end and he was very disappointed with the events that unfolded.
He took to Twitter to express his anger. The couple had explicitly told the guests that they can take part in the ceremony with their phones unplugged but that did not materialize. He accused the people who indulged in this act and said that his privacy along with that of his wife and family was openly violated.

“It’s very disappointing that despite many and repeated requests, our privacy was hurt and people kept on sharing it further without any guilt. I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to spoil our memorable big day,” Shaheen said in a thunderous tweet on Twitter.

The wedding was held in Karachi with the notable Pakistani cricketers Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Babar Azam who had made it to the event. On the occasion of the wedding, Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to inform fans that his daughter and Shaheen are tying the knot.
“Daughter is the most beautiful flower of your garden because they blossom with great blessing. A daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with, and love with all your heart. As parent, I gave my daughter in Nikkah to @iShaheenAfridi, congratulations to the two of them,” Afridi wrote in a tweet.
Shaheen Afridi has been Pakistan’s trump card with the ball and has made a big impact with his left-arm pace on the international stage. He has picked up 62 wickets in 32 matches at an average of 23.87 and an economy rate of 5.51. He has made great progress on his knee injury that he sustained in last year’s Asia Cup. He will play season 8 of the PSL.
