‘Mom is absolutely fit and fine..’ – Virat Kohli’s brother rubbishes rumours about mother’s health

Virat Kohli is out of action due to personal reasons, His brother Vikas Kohli spoke about the misinformation and confirmed that their mother Saroj Kohli is in good health. His elder brother, Vikas, wrote to his Instagram account and clear out rumours that have been spreading all over social media about their mother Saroj Kohli’s health.

Vikas spoke about the misinformation and said that their mother is in good health and requested fans and media stop spreading unverified news. He also talked about the importance of sharing verified information and expressed gratitude for everyone’s concern.

There were speculations about Saroj Kohli’s health

When Virat Kohli took a break from the first two Tests against England some speculations were around Saroj Kohli’s health But Vikas clarified on Instagram that all the reports were baseless.

“I have noticed that there is this fake news about our mom’s health been circulating around. Let me clear that our mom is absolutely fit and fine. Also, I would request everyone and also the media, not to spread such news without proper information. Thanks everyone for your concern,” Vikas wrote on Instagram.

Despite all the rumours in social media, there has been no official update about the reason behind Kohli’s not taking part in the first two Test matches. The Indian Cricket Board had previously asked fans and media to respect the former captain’s privacy and stop spreading rumours.

England lead the test series by 1-0 after the magnificent victory by 28 runs, in Hyderabad. Virat Kohli is out of the first two tests in the series. Jadeja and KL Rahul are also out of the remaining Tests. India will play with their inexperienced middle order against England on February 2 in, Visakhapatnam.
