Mohammad Kaif takes yet another swipe at Australia after India’s T20I series win

Yet another round of war of words brewing?

The Indian Cricket team on Sunday won the final T20 by 6 runs to win the series 4-1. Former India player Mohammad Kaif took this as a chance to take massive aim at the Australian team with a new jibe.

The 43-year-old had famously taken a massive swipe at the Aussies a day after the ODI World Cup final. Travis Head’s century had helped Australia win by 6 wickets to claim their 6th ODI World Cup title.

Mohammad Kaif fires shots at Australia –

Former India star Mohammad Kaif took to Twitter to fire yet another shot at Australia. This came after India’s 6-run win in Bengaluru on Sunday to win the 5th T20I. India took the series 4-1 to give S*uryakumar Yadav a great start to his captaincy career.

Mohammad Kaif wrote, “Better talent, better skills. This time better team on the field and on paper, won 4-1”. The 43-year-old had earlier taken a huge swipe at Australia calling India the better after the ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad.

Rohit Sharma and his team could score just 240 runs before Australia chased it down with ease. Travis Head was the main batter as he scored an important century with Marnus Labuschagne scoring an unbeaten half-century.

On Sunday it was Arshdeep Singh who turned the game around for India in the final over with Australia needing 10 runs to win. The left-arm seamer gave away just three runs and took the key wicket of Matthew Wade.

Shreyas Iyer was the top scorer for India with 53 runs off just 37 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. Jitesh Sharma scored 24 runs while Axar Patel got India to the score with an important 31 runs.

Axar Patel then turned hero with the ball as he got the big wicket of Tim David for 16. The 29-year-old bowled four overs and gave away just 14 runs while picking up one wicket. Mukesh Kumar put in yet another lion-hearted effort to pick 3/32 from his 4 overs.

Ravi Bishnoi earned India the big wicket of Travis Head for 28 and then got Aaron Hardie out for 6. Rinku Singh was seen lifting the trophy to make it a series to remember for the young Indian side.
