Merry Christmas Review: Since its announcement, the movie Merry Christmas has been the talk of the town. Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi are two of the film’s great talents, and the director, Sriram Raghavan, is one of the best minds in Indian cinema. The film has finally been released on a large screen after multiple postponements and delays, and it unquestionably possesses every component needed to be an exciting entertainment.

Maria, played by Katrina Kaif, and Albert, played by Vijay Sethupathi, are two of the movie’s key characters. The film revolves around the meeting of two strangers on a Christmas night, and it depicts how their lives change as a result of a series of events.

The movie’s screenplay is excellent, supporting the captivating storytelling throughout the entire film. It departs a little after that, though. The film’s direction, by Sriram Raghavan, is stunning and will keep you captivated until the very end.

Merry Christmas Review in detail:

Speaking of the performances, witnessing actor Vijay Sethupathi give a fantastic performance was undoubtedly enjoyable. Furthermore, the actor’s comedic one-liners were outstanding. However, throughout the entire film, actress Katrina Kaif maintains an exquisite appearance. Her character will undoubtedly catch your attention. In fact, she steals the show in a lot of the scenes. However, despite having very little to offer, actors like Vinay Pathak, Sanjay Mishra, and Tinu Anand were still respectable.

When it comes to the film’s positive aspects, the plot, which is original and centred around a single Christmas night, must be mentioned. The first scene of the second half sets the tone for the entire duration. It was entertaining to watch the performances by actors Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif. You’ll laugh out loud at Vijay Sethupathi’s one-liners for sure. The story build-up is done beautifully. In addition, the movie’s twists and turns are unquestionably its high points—we see the same in another Sriram Raghavan film.

When it comes to the drawbacks, the story’s plodding first part has to come up. Developing the plot and creating the thrilling elements takes a lot of time. Similar to the majority of Shriram Raghavan films, this one raises a lot of unanswered questions. Having said all of this, Merry Christmas is a treat for readers of thrillers with few to no plot holes. This one is definitely for you if you enjoy suspense and thrillers and are a fan of Sriram Raghavan’s films.
