Merry Christmas Box Office Report – Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupati starrer locks total ₹11.3 crores in India on day 4!

Merry Christmas box office collection day 4: Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s suspense film is directed by Sriram Raghavan. On January 12, it was made available. As per a report by Sacnilk.com, Merry Christmas earned an estimated ₹1.65 crore on Monday. Sriram Raghavan is the director of this bilingual Hindi-Tamil thriller.

According to the report, Merry Christmas made ₹3.83 crore nett in India on Sunday across all languages. In all languages, it brought in ₹3.45 crore nett on Saturday. The film, which was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi, made ₹2.45 crore nett in all languages on its opening day at the domestic box office one day prior. Merry Christmas has made about ₹11.38 crore net in India so far.

The movie depicts how two people’s lives are completely turned upside down by an uneventful Christmas Eve. Two strangers become romantically involved, and the storyline takes an unexpected turn. Merry Christmas features two distinct supporting casts and was filmed in two languages. In addition to Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, Vinay Pathak, Sanjay Kapoor, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand are also included in the Hindi version. However, Rajesh Williams, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Radhika Sarathkumar play the same roles in the Tamil version.

Director Sriram Raghavan said in a statement, discussing his experience working on the project, “Merry Christmas is a very different film from anything I have made in the past. A relationship that grows between two strangers over the course of one night is at the centre of this movie. Of course, there is a crime involved, but occasionally a night can seem like a lifetime.”

“We’ve adopted a slow-burn strategy; there’s tension and suspense, but the turns and turns are more subdued, almost invisible. To truly enjoy the payoff, the audience must be invested in Katrina and Vijay’s characters,” he continued.
