The former wicketkeeper of Pakistan is regarded as one of the laziest cricketers in cricket. During the early 1990s, Latif had to fight for his spot in the team, as Moin Khan was a better wicketkeeper. It was pretty evident that Latif was not that good with gloves. The former Pakistani batter was not that great while running between the wickets either.

Latif got his chances and did not make the best use of them. As a batter, Latif averaged only 28.77 in Tests after playing 37 matches. In ODIs, Latif’s numbers were much worse. In 166 ODIs, Latif averaged 19.42 with the bat. As a keeper, Latif was not a safe option either. There are instances where Latif dropped dollies behind the stumps.
