‘Kya hi fuk ke baithe hai sab’ – Fans troll results from mock-IPL auction held on Monday

It is going to be a busy Tuesday for all the ten teams as they sit down for the IPL 2024 Auctions in Dubai. A total of 333 players will be under the spotlight as each team make their player pick for the upcoming season.

Ahead of the huge day on the 19^th of December, there was a mock auction which took place. Leading players Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Gerald Coetzee, Shardul Thakur, and Harry Brook were the names in focus.

The results from the mock-auction was nothing short of fascinating with each of the player going for a huge price. After the results were made public the fans couldn’t believe what each player had commanded and in which team they were placed.

IPL Mock Auctions throws up fascinating results –

Cricket fans and IPL hopefuls are set to know their fate on Tuesday when the IPL 2024 Auctions take place. Dubai is the venue where the ten teams sit down to decide the future of the short-listed 333 players.

Ahead of the big day on Tuesday, there was a mock auction that took place on Monday. Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc was picked up for INR 18.5 Crores by the RCB team. If this translates on Tuesday it will give RCB a huge boost to land one of their former stars for a huge sum of money.

Young South African pacer Gerald Coetzee was picked by Gujarat Titans for a whopping INR 18 Crores. The IPL 2022 winners have the largest purse left for the IPL 2024 auctions thanks to the mega trade for Hardik Pandya with Mumbai Indians.

Australian skipper Pat Cummins was picked by SRH for 17.5 Crores, while Harry Brook was picked by Gujarat Titans for INR 9.5 Crores. Sunrisers Hyderabad had paid a lot of money for the English batter ahead of the IPL 2023 season.

Indian star Shardul Thakur left the social media users in shock after he was picked by Punjab Kings for INR 14 Crores. The 32-year-old began his IPL journey with Punjab before moving to Chennai Super Kings.

While this was a mock auction, it did throw some interesting aspects regarding the plans from the teams on Tuesday. Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins are set to the main attraction on Tuesday. It is expected that the three stars will get huge bids on Tuesday in Dubai. For now, it is wait and watch as the clock is getting closer to the Auction day.
