KL Rahul seen at Luxx club in London amidst recovery from hip injury
KL Rahul starred in just nine matches for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023.

KL Rahul has been living in London since he sustained a hip flexor injury on May 1 in IPL 2023. The injury happened in the IPL game involving Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rahul batted through some pain and made it through the game. RCB trumped LSG in that low scoring encounter and won the game by 18 runs. Rahul remained unbeaten on 0 off 3 balls and faced discomfort while running.
He flew down to the United Kingdom for his surgery. As he goes through for recuperation to start his rehab, he just uploaded a photo of himself using crutches on the streets of London. On another note, a fascinating video of KL Rahul is doing the rounds on social media.
The brief video posted on social media shows the former vice-captain of India enjoying a dancer on stage at London’s Luxx Club strip club when the camera, which was recording the entire scene, also caught him on camera.

There were a lot of reactions on social media to the picture when it was uploaded. Many fans responded to the picture and said he was looking very forlorn. KL Rahul did not have the best of seasons in IPL 2023 as the runs were hard to come by. His form was wayward and he scored 274 runs in nine games that he played for the franchise. The Karnataka batter’s strike rate was questioned throughout the tournament as many felt he was batting slowly.
On May 9, 2023 , as he provided an update regarding his surgery, Rahul completed the medical procedure on his thigh. Right from then, he has been in London. The LSG captain praised the medical team for their outstanding support throughout his surgery in an Instagram post he put out about his rehabilitation. The message read,
“Hi everyone, I just got done with my surgery – it was successful. A big thank you to the doctors and medical staff for making sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. I’m officially on the road to recovery now. I’m determined to get back to my best and get back on the field. Onwards and upwards!”
