Aakash Chopra is known for giving predictions prior to Team India as well as Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. But he often gets trolled for getting it wrong and, yesterday, was one of those days. Most of his predictions not only went wrong but didn’t even get close to the right answer.

What did Aakash Chopra predict for the RCB vs KKR game?

The former right handed batter had predicted that both teams would score between 90-105 runs combined in the first six overs of their innings. This was the only prediction that the commentator got right as all the others were nowhere even close.

He also predicted that Mohammad Siraj and Harshal Patel, the team India superstars, would scalp three wickets each. On the contrary, the duo managed to scalp only two wickets combined and gave away a total 82 runs in their 8 overs combined.

Then, the cricket expert predicted that power-hitting duo of Glenn Maxwell and Andre Russell would score 5 sixes each. This prediction went horribly wrong as Glenn Maxwell’s stay lasted only seven balls, whilst the latter’s innings lasted for just a ball as he got a golden duck.

They weren’t even able to manage a six combined. His last prediction was a 50-50 call as he predicted for Bangalore to win the match but, in the end, Kolkata Knight Riders got a massive victory of 81 runs at the Eden Gardens in Match nine of the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League.

One of the most well-known cricket analysts and pundits in India is Aakash Chopra. However, the former Team India opener, recently received, some terrible news when he revealed on his Twitter account that he was tested positive against the dangerous COVID-19, which is now returning to increasing prevalence in India.

The former cricketer turned broadcaster posted a tweet announcing that he had become re-infected with COVID-19. He has very little signs and symptoms, and the whole thing is in control, and, thus there is no need to be concerned. A few days’ absence out of the commentary box was also disclosed by him.
