The Indian Super League is going on at full tilt at the moment. Mumbai City FC leading the way with 24 points. Hyderabad FC however are on its toes with 22 points in 10 matches.
Given Hyderabad’s good performance in the ISL 2022, the management has been impressed with three players and have extended their contracts. Hitesh Sharma, Joao Victor and Mohammad Yasir have been awarded with an improved contract for their performance in the ongoing ISL.
Yasir has been integral to Hyderabad’s success in the past and has been a part of the club since 2019. He is the first Hyderabad player to play 50 games for the club. After the contract extension, the player has been ecstatic and looks ahead to the future.
“I have been a part of Hyderabad FC since its inception and it is great to see how we have grown as a football team. But it is equally important that Hyderabad, as a city, falls in love with this game again and I hope we as a team can make it happen,” said the 24-year-old who extends his contract till 2025.

Victor has also expressed joy for the extension and have talked of great mutual respect among the players.
“I felt embraced right from the first time I arrived here. We have mutual respect for each other and are a family. We have high ambitions with Hyderabad and I want to be a part of everything.” says, the captain of Hyderabad FC
The midfielder, Hitesh Sharma has also called the club a family and expressed immense joy and extending his stay at the ISL club.
“We at Hyderabad FC are one big family. We fight for each other in every game and that is what makes me want to stay. I hope to be part of this club for years to come,” he said, after penning his new deal.
Currently, Mumbai City FC lead the table with Hyderabad FC in second. ATK Mohun Bagan with 20 are third while FC Goa with 19 points remain fourth.
