LSG and KL Rahul have struggled strategically in practically every game this season due to their questionable choices. Nicholas Pooran has suffered because players like Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni, and Marcus Stoinis have been randomly used.

In addition to Quinton de Kock warming the bench, the bowling adjustments haven’t been spectacular. It was an especially terrible display of captaincy when he used Ravi Bishnoi against PBKS. In every area, LSG has exhibited terrible tactical judgement. While some of that can be put on the support team, the captain must also take responsibility.
