A Big event has unfolded in Pakistan Cricket. In what could be pathbreaking, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will enrol on Harvard Business School’s executive education program. They will become the first cricketers to join the program. The program will take place from May 31 to June 3 at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. A long list of sportspersons has previously enrolled for the program.
The sporting list is long and it includes the likes of Kaka, Gerrard Pique, Oliver Kahn, Paul Gasol and Chris Paul. Pakistan captain Babar said he wanted to learn, grow and give back to the society at large. He said: “My inspiration for joining this world-class program at Harvard is to connect, explore, listen, learn, grow, and give back to the community worldwide.” “It’s a huge honour to represent Pakistan on such a prestigious global stage,” Rizwan said. The Pakistan keeper-batter is psyched to learn from the best in the world.

“We are going to Harvard to learn from the best in the world and at the same time to share our journey and learnings with everyone. I am certain that this will be an exciting journey, and I look forward to sharing our learning and experiences with the next superstars of the cricket world.” Rizwan added. The two have been Pakistan’s shining stars with the bat in recent times. In T20 cricket they both have opened the innings together many times.
Along with Babar and Rizwan, their mentor Talha Rehmani, who is the founder and CEO of Saya Corporation, enrolled on the programme. “Harvard beckons Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and mentor Talha Rehmani for the prestigious program. The world number one ranked ODI batter and Captain of the Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan, the Vice Captain of the Pakistan test cricket team, are the first cricketers to join the Harvard Business School’s executive education program, on The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS), with their mentor, the Saya Corporation Founder and CEO, Talha Rehmani,” the University said.
