India couldn’t get a good start with the bat in the 4th T20I but they still posted a decent total of 169 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. All-rounder, Hardik Pandya and senior wicketkeeper-batter, Dinesh Karthik rescued the team from a very precarious situation.

Hardik Pandya played an inning of 46 runs in 31 deliveries whereas Karthik smashed a blistering knock of 55 runs off just 27 balls. Hardik and Karthik’s batting brilliance was followed by the stellar performances of the Indian bowlers. The 25-year-old pacer Avesh Khan destroyed the visitors’ batting line-up by claiming four wickets in his spell of four overs. Khan conceded only 18 runs with an impressive economy rate of 4.50.

South Africa, as a result, were bundled out for just 87 runs in the second innings.
