Howard Beck makes startling claim about Paul George potentially moving out of LA Clippers
In massive news from the NBA, the LA Clippers would most likely be looking at other options in place of Paul George. He has had an underwhelming season due to injuries. The current buzz in the NBA is that the LA Clippers have put George as a free trade this summer. NBA insider Howard Beck claims the Clippers are frustrated with Kawhi Leonard and George’s underwhelming performance.
The duo have been on song and done well together, but they have been plagued with injuries which have cost the Clippers big time. The two have not been able to star together on the basketball court as often as the Clippers would have hoped for. “I was hearing things that suggested Paul George was in play, and everything since then has validated that,” Beck said on the ‘FnA’ podcast with Kevin Figgers and Adam Ausland.

“I think he’s in play. Lawrence Frank is going to say what he has to say. Team GMs and presidents always say, ‘No, we love our guys,’ right up until the moment that they trade him. That’s just how this thing goes. “Mike Dunleavy Jr., on the day he was introduced as the Warriors new GM, said, ‘Jordan Poole is going to be here for years to come’, and then we just saw him get traded. So Paul George is undoubtedly available. he added.
“They’re not trying to give him away, but they are trying to pivot, and they do have a franchise-wide frustration with the way that this era has gone.” The LA Clippers held George in the fold in 2019 from the OKC Thunder. Their main intention was to get someone as a pairing along with Leonard. The downside of George has been that he has missed a lot of games for the Clippers in the last four seasons. George had a knee injury in the regular season, and he did not star in the NBA playoffs due to this reason.
