A couple of days after he got married, KL Rahul was seen sweating it out at the gym ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The four-match Test series will take place in India. Rahul was last seen in India colours against Sri Lanka, where he scored 110 runs in the three ODIs that were played.
The power couple tied the knot at Athiya Shetty’s father Sunil Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. On the day of their wedding, when it came to their outfits, the bride went in for a neutral-toned lehenga with a heavy polki embellished neckpiece and earrings. She kept her hair tied back in a high bun and opted for a neutral, nude shade palate for her makeup. Rahul wore an off-white sherwani that went well with the bride’s outfit.

The couple put out pictures of their wedding on social media while sharing the pictures. Athiya wrote, “In your light, I learn how to love…” She went on, “Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness.”
A 90s-themed Bollywood sangeet night was held at the Khandala farmhouse that belonged to Suniel on late Sunday evening. As per reports, there were 70 people on the guest list. Videos of music playing at the function have gone viral on social media. A lot of guests were seen breaking a leg at the venue as well. In the videos taken from outside the venue, Bollywood songs like “Besharam Rang”, “Humma Humma”, “Jumma Chumma”, “Jhanjariya”, “Dekha Jo Tujhe Yaar”, “Aaj Ki Party” could be heard.
There were a lot of expensive gifts given to the couple at their wedding. From the likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and others.
Rahul has been the skipper of the side whenever Rohit Sharma has been given rest or if he has been injured. In the ODIs. Rahul has started keeping wickets again in ODIs to help India fill in for Rishabh Pant and also it allows India to get an extra bowler or batter whenever the need arises.
