Ever since 2015, Starc has given importance to Test cricket and spending time with family. Looking forward to play in loud Indian crowds – Mitchell Strac

In a promotional video for Star Sports, Mitchell Starc was asked about his feelings on IPL return. He stated that he is excited about and looking forward to playing in loud Indian crowds. When asked about Virat Kohli, Starc claimed the Indian star was a ‘fierce competitor off the field yet kind and modest off it.’

“I do remember fondly the couple of years that I had at the RCB alongside Virat. He was the captain as well. That was the first time I got to know him properly, particularly off the field. He is such a different person off the field. Such a humble and warm character off the field and then fiercely competitive on it. I remember that the most about him,” Starc said in the interview.

The Kolkata Knight Riders will have high hopes with Mitchell Starc as he has achieved a lot in 2023. With Australia, Starc has won the ODI World Cup twice. He has also won the World Test Championship (WTC) against India. He has also won T20 World. The fast bowler will provide KKR with the ability to bowl at a high velocity as well as the necessary expertise. In IPL he has played 27 matches and has picked 34 wickets with an economy of 7.17.

Today he turns 34 and he is one of the world’s best fast bowlers. He has won each major trophy with Australia. Mitchell is also one of the finest bowlers Australia ever produced.
