Gujarat Titans’ new find, Robin Minz gets involve in road accident ahead of IPL 2024

On March 2 Robin Minz player of Gujarat Titans was involved in a bike accident but had no major injury in the accident. When the accident took place Robin Minz was riding his Ninja Kawasaki superbike. This incident took place while I was taking a turn and collided with another bike.

“He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation,” Minz’s father disclosed as per News 18.

The accident news came on Sunday and he was kept under observation following the incident. After the accident, Francis Minz, father of Robin Minz stated that he was perfectly alright after the accident.

“Yesterday when he was on his way back home, his bike skidded and Robin had a narrow escape. The bike is a bit damaged but Robin is alright,” said Robin’s father.

During the mini-auction in December Robin Minz’s base price was Rs. 20 lakhs. As his name came out he started the bidding war between three teams Chennai Super Kings Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians. However, Gujarat Titans won the bidding war he they bought him for Rs. 3.60 crores 18 times more than his base. He becomes the first tribal man to play in IPL.

Looking forward to seeing Robin Minz in IPL – Shubman Gill

Earlier, Shubman Gill met Francis Xavier Minz at Bisra Munda Airport in Ranchi as Shubman Gill was departing from Ranchi. Shubman Gill posted an Instagram story, “Honoured to meet Robin Minz’s father. Your journey and hard work have been inspiring. Looking forward to seeing you in the IPL,” Shubman Gill wrote in his Instagram story. He also stated he is looking forward to playing along with Robin Minz in IPL.

Robin Minz’s cricket journey started when his father saw him playing with sticks and stones. Later he made a bat out of wood for him. Even though they were facing economic struggles his father managed to give me the necessary things which are used to play cricket.

He came into the limelight for his hard-hitting batting style. He is famously known as “Ranchi ka Gayle”. As IPL 2024 is set to begin from 22nd March Gujarat Titans will take on Mumbai Indians in their opening game of IPL 2024 on 4th March in Ahmedabad.
