‘Gill overplayed his PR’ – Fans react as rumours of Shubman Gill dating Rashmika Mandanna turn out to be fake

A news media house had said in a recent interaction when India cricketer Shubman Gill was asked who his favourite actress was and whom he had a crush on and it was believed that he said the name of Kannada actress and film star Rashmika Mandanna. When this so-called statement happened then naturally it took social media by storm. Fans were waiting to see a reaction from Rashmika.

But Gill dropped a massive bombshell and said that all the allegations that have been going on with this so-called interaction and said he is not dating anyone at present. He also put all the claims to rest and called out the news portal. “Which media interaction was this, that I myself don’t know about,” Gill commented under the post.” Gill has been in the news in this regard not for the first time.

Earlier Gill had hit the headlines as rumours of Gill and Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan. The rumours surfaced in August when the two were seen at a restaurant. Gill later in a Punjabi chat show which was called Dil Diyan Gallan, hosted by Sonam Bajwa, was asked whether he was in a relationship with Sara.

The Punjab-born cricketer gave a response to that and said, “may be”. Afterwards, some videos of Shubman from a hotel and a plane surfaced on social media. These pictures were doing the rounds on social media as fans on the internet shared them to make it sound evident that something was happening between the two. The duo were seen coming out of the same hotel and boarding the same flight which further added fuel to the rumours.

Gill has been in tremendous form in white ball cricket as he recently became the toughest and fifth India to slam a double hundred in ODI cricket which happened in Hyderabad in the home series against New Zealand.
