Former French defender rips apart Kylian Mbappe amidst his desire not to play for PSG anymore

In news that could stir up the world of football, Kylian Mbappe could move out of PSG. When the season began, the Frenchman had put the dotted line for a two-year contract. The contract came with a rider that he would have the option of lengthening the contract by an extra year. L’Equipe reported he would reject the extension, becoming a free agent for the 2024 season
In the midst of all this happening, Mbappe received an absolute earful from former French defender Rolland Courbis, who gave a whole earful to Mbappe and said, “You don’t think you’re going to play for a year and say goodbye to us! If that’s your idea, have a reunion with your family, because you’re not going to play Paris Saint-Germain for a minute anymore! ” Courbis, while talking to After Foot RMC, said in a series of startling revelations that Mbappe would never play for the club again amid controversy surrounding his contract.

The club would not want to lose a significant amount of money, so PSG could be required to sell him in this window. Lionel Messi was the latest to leave PSG. Messi has switched bases to Inter Miami and will star in Major League Soccer (MLS) in America. A report from the PSG community says that Real Madrid is at a stage where they could potentially lock in Mbappe on their side. The report further goes on to say that Madrid has agreed to a fee that could go up to 250 million Spanish pesetas, which would shatter the current transfer record.
On another note, Lionel Messi has opened up on his experience at PSG and explained in detail how he was subjected to differential treatment from the fans. “At first it was great, I received a lot of encouragement as I’ve often said, but then people started to treat me differently, some of the Paris fans. The majority, on the other hand, treated me as well as they did at the start. There was a rift with a large section of the Paris crowd.” Messi told RMC Sport.
