Setting world records in a sport is a tough job and a mountain to climb, there is a lot of seat endurance and hard work that goes into making records on the biggest of stages. It is an achievement for the athlete and laurels are bestowed upon the nation as well. They have set a benchmark for the next generation of talented athletes to try and build on and make a mark in their sport and also make the nation proud.

Heen Sindhu is one of the most fabled shooters from India. She was the first Indian pistol shooter to be ranked World No. 1 on the 7th of April in 2014. Sidhu is only the third Indian shooter to win a gold medal at the ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Cup which was achieved when she claimed pole position in Germany in 2013. The shooter from Punjab set a new world record in the finals with an overall score of 203.8
