Virat Kohli has found his form in T20Is and ODIs but the same cannot be said about Test Cricket. The former India captain has not shown signs of being his old self in the whites and also has had an issue against finger spin, especially against left-arm spin. Australia can use the likes of Ashton Agar to counter Kohli.
The Delhi lad has scored 8119 runs in the longest format of the game in 104 matches at an average of 48.90 and a strike rate of 55.50. He has scored 27 hundreds and 28 fifties, which highlights his strong conversion rate in this format. He will look to shoulder the Indian batting lineup, which looks slightly inexperienced in the middle order in the absence of Rishabh Pant.
