Distraught Neymar uplifts teammates after World Cup exit, reveals private WhatsApp chat

Brazil was dumped out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the hands of Croatia in their quarterfinal clash. Considered one of the favourites to win the World Cup, Brazil’s exit in Qatar shocked many. Even the players were quite shocked at their exit as many had truly believed that this would be their year.
The likes of Neymar, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr and others were seen in seen after their penalty shootout loss to Croatia. Now, the PSG superstar Neymar has come out and revealed his chat with fellow teammates after the World Cup ouster.
Neymar’s conversation with Thiago Silva read, “We’re gonna have to keep going bro, sadly that’s how it is! I wanted to give you this cup. You, me and Dani [Alves] deserved a lot. But God has our purpose and he knows everything.”

Neymar also shared his chat with Marquinhos who missed the decisive penalty. His message to Marquinhos read, “Passing by to tell you that I’m your fan. A penalty won’t change what I think of you. I’m with you forever, you know it. Let time pass. I more than anyone know that everything passes, good and bad moments alike. Stay strong, enjoy your family’s company and never forget that besides being your colleague I’m your friend and I want your well-being. I love you and we keep going together.”
Rodrygo who missed Brazil’s first penalty also received a motivational text from Neymar. The message read, “Brother, I’m here to tell you that you’re amazing. It’s an honor to be able to be a part of your career, hear you say that I’m your idol and watch you become one of the best players in the history of Brazil! The only people that miss penalties are the ones that take them, I already missed a lot in my career and I learned from all of them. But I never gave up and always tried to be better.”
When the Real Madrid forward apologised, Neymar had this to say, “Don’t you f*****g apologize! Are you crazy? The only people that miss are the ones that take them, you’re a beast! I will teach you later how to take them. We stay together! Take care.”
