Royal Challengers Bangalore have been hit by injuries in IPL 2023. David Willey was ruled out of the tournament on Monday due to an injury and was replaced by Kedar Jhadav. RCB have blown hot and cold this season. In the nine matches that the Bold Army have played, they have won five of them and lost four. The Faf du Plessis led side has 10 points as of now. They now have five away games left as well. It is going to be a test of steel for RCB.
The Bold Army has one of the best fanbases in the country. A video of an RCB fan has gone viral. He has a red bike which is filled with stickers of RCB players. This includes the likes of Virat Kohli, du Plessis, AB de Villiers and the like. They have been pasted all over the bike. In the video, it appears that the guy works as a delivery boy. Another person was seen taking a video of the bike and praising the fan for his unwavering support towards RCB.
Here is the video:

In 15 editions of the Indian Premier League, RCB have not got their hands on an IPL trophy. But RCB has such loyal fans like him who will stick with the franchise. This is what being a die-hard fan is all about. He has been supporting them since the inception of the IPL in 2008 for 15 years. The Bold Army have made it to the finals of the IPL on three occasions. They reached the summit clash in 2009, 2011, and 2016.
The Faf du Plessis led side has been hit by some old inconsistencies. Other than the famed trio of Kohli, du Plessis and Maxwell. The middle order which comprises Mahipal Lomror, Dinesh Karthik, and Suyash Prabhudessai, has not delivered. When Willey got injured, RCB signed on Kedar Jhadav for 1 crore INR to shore up their misfiring middle order.
If RCB are to go all out and create history this season, then they will have to play out of their skin. The bowlers have to step up in a slew of away games. The middle order which looks brittle at present needs to stand up. They can also go back to the drawing board and look at new players to try out.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter:
