Cricketers who died while playing matches

5. Ian Folley 

Ian Folley was a cricketer from England. At the age of 30, Folley was playing a match against Workington. While batting, the right-handed batter was hit underneath an eye. Folley was soon taken to a local hospital to get treated. Under anesthesia, the English cricketer died due to a heart attack.  The death of Folley raised a lot of questions in England. Upon investigation, the hospital admitted its negligence in handling the patient.
