The India vs England Test series is something which every cricket fan will be excited to witness. The series is scheduled to begin on the 25th of January at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The squad are set and ready to compete in the 5-match Test series, which will feature some world-class players in the ranks. This will also be a battle between the two attacking batters by nature in the form of Rohit Sharma and Ben Stokes. Both these skippers will be ready for the challenge and have something to prove to each other. England will want to play well in these conditions where they have seemed to struggle a lot and India will also want to solve the Bazball problem which has been tough for every team.

There are a lot of Indian bowlers in the Test side who are capable of decoding this puzzle and one of them is Jasprit Bumrah who has been one of the best pacers in the Indian lineup. Bumrah has been the go-to bowler for India in all formats of the game including Test cricket. He has already taken 140 wickets in his 32 Test matches and is going from strength to strength. His performance in the South Africa Test series has also been incredible and he will be looking forward to the challenge of facing off against these aggressive English batters.

Bumrah on Bazball

The Baz ball tactic which has been invented by England, has been the most relevant topic in the cricketing world, so there was no surprise that there will be questions asked about this topic to the talented pacer from Baroda. Bumrah while answering to the guardian had said “As a bowler, what I think is that it keeps me in play. And if they’re going for it, playing so fast, they won’t tire me out, I could get heaps of wickets.” With this, he also praised the English cricketers for their unique approach to the game as well.

These are positive and confident words said by the 30-year-old pacer, who seems ready for the challenge against the top international side. There is no doubt that Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the world right now and will look to give his best as soon as he steps into the field. It will surely be interesting to see if he will be able to give the same consistent performances against this team which looks to dominate every bowler they face. We hope we get to see the man in action against one of the best sides in the world.
