Animal actor Ranbir Kapoor gets in legal trouble – Complaint filed against the actor!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family were the target of a legal action brought by two advocates from Mumbai, Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra, who filed a complaint at the Ghatkopar police station. The advocates claimed that a video that has been making the rounds online, showing Ranbir Kapoor and his family celebrating Christmas, has offended religious feelings and diminished the value of “Sanatan Dharm.”

In the controversial video, Ranbir Kapoor is seen with family members chanting “Jai Mata Di” as they light a Christmas cake. The advocates claimed that the act of pouring wine over the cake and lighting it while reciting the religious passage were intentional insults to Hindu religious beliefs.

They emphasized how important it is for Hindus to invoke the fire god before other gods and said it was disrespectful to consume alcohol during one religious holiday and not another. The advocates stressed that if such behaviours, which are seen as offensive and illegal, go unchecked, they may cause unrest and disturb law and order.

The complaint hopes to hold Ranbir Kapoor and his family accountable for their joint participation in the Christmas celebration under sections 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings), 298 (Uttering words to wound religious feelings), 500 (Defamation), and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention). Even after the complaint was filed, the authorities have not yet filed a First Information Report (FIR) on the basis of these claims against the Kapoor family.

Talking about Ranbir’s recent movie, Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir’s girlfriend Geetanjali in the movie “Animal,” with whom he eventually marries and has a family. Ranvijay is played by Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir’s adulterous relationship is portrayed by Triptii Dimri, and his father is portrayed by Anil Kapoor. An important antagonist played by Bobby Deol seeks retribution from Ranvijay for the death of his brother.

Despite receiving a mixed response from critics and some viewers, “Animal“ has gone on to become one of 2023’s most financially successful films. Since its December 1st premiere, the movie has made over ₹500 crore in India. Official word has been released regarding “Animal Park,” the next film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in which Ranbir is expected to play two parts.
