After Rashmika and Katrina, Alia Bhatt is the latest victim of a viral deepfake video!

Alia Bhatt’s deepfake video has gone viral, following Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, and Kajol. A video of Alia’s morphed face is being shared on all social media platforms. It has raised questions about the use of artificial intelligence. Alia Bhatt’s face is edited over the face of another woman in the video. A manipulated video of Alia Bhatt has surfaced online, adding to the latest string of deepfake controversies. The video shows a girl making gestures to the camera while dressed in a blue floral co-ord set with Alia’s face on it.

A manipulated video of Kajol also surfaced online a few days ago. The original clip starred TikTok influencer Rosie Breen, who shared it as part of the ‘Get Ready With Me’ trend. Breen’s face was replaced with that of Kajol in the deepfake. The video showed the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actor changing clothes in front of the camera. The new video comes amid growing concern about deepfake after a video of Rashmika Mandanna first went viral.

Rashmika Mandanna spoke out about her viral deepfake video earlier this month. She wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is truly terrifying, not only for me but for all of us who are now vulnerable to so much harm as a result of how technology is being abused.” Amitabh Bachchan responded to another tweet about the same video by saying, “Yes, this is a strong case for legal.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt recently won Best Actor in the Web Original Film category at the Filmfare OTT Awards for her web debut, Darlings. She also received a National Award for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Her most recent films include Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani and her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone. She is working on Vasan Bala’s Jigra.
