Australian spinner Adam Zampa has been blessed with a baby boy. He took to Instagram to post a picture of his newborn baby in a story. Thus, it didn’t take too long for the same to go viral. Although Australia are playing the T20I series in Sri Lanka, he isn’t a part of their squad. As a matter of fact, he isn’t a part of Australia’s limited-overs series in Sri Lanka.

Zampa had to miss the series as he had to be with his wife Harriet Palmer. While he is supposed to be back in the Australian squad for their next series of limited-overs cricket. He has impressed everyone with his stellar performances in the last couple of years and led the team to remarkable victories in a couple of matches.

Zampa has appeared in 67 ODIs and 62 T20Is for Australia and has scalped 103 wickets and 71 wickets respectively, having an economy rate of 6.79 in T20Is to his name. He played a crucial role in the 20-20 World Cup 2021 when Australia clinched the title. He was absolutely superb during the middle overs, and kept picking wickets.

Zampa wrote “Eugene” in the caption of his Instagram story, which might be the name of his baby boy. To note, it can be seen that the newborn baby is holding a finger of Zampa. It has been seen that a couple of cricketers have enjoyed a growth in their cricket career after the birth of their child. Similarly, the Aussie lad would also be expecting the same result in his career ahead.

As for Australia’s tour to the emerald island, Zampa has been replaced by Mitchell Swepson and Ashton Agar in the line-up. However, it is to be noted that Swepson is still waiting to get an opportunity to be in the playing XI. On the contrary, Agar impressed everyone with his stellar performances with a good economy rate.
