PGL CS2 Major European RMR B; Final day overview

European RMR BRound 5 on the final day for the European RMR B saw six teams fighting for the last three regional spots for CS2 Major. With this, we now have eight teams from RMR B entering the Major and only one more spot from the entire EU region.

The final spot will be filled by teams taking part in the decider brackets. Three teams from RMR A and three from RMR B will now get one last chase to qualify.

Day 4, Round 5 overview –

ENCE faced Astralis and completely dominated them in the first two matches in a best-of-three. Astralis has not been in decent shape for some time and this loss has now sent them to the decider brackets.

A similar case happened with GamerLegion who saw their third defeat at the hands of HEROIC. Both teams have been underperforming since the release of CS2. Despite that, HEROIC managed to outplay their opponent and secure a spot in the Major.

The final spot match was between ECSTATIC and Guild Eagles. Both are relatively new in the C2 scene. The matches saw Guild Eagles take the first map with a dominating victory. However, the team fumbled and lost two matches back-to-back.

The top eight teams will move forward to the Major and join the other teams from European RMR B. Teams in 9th to 11th will move to the decider brackets with three more teams from RMR A. The remaining teams have been eliminated from the Major.
