The upcoming mobile battle royale game Indus has now entered the beta-closed phase. The game is being developed by an Indian studio, SuperGaming and has crossed over 8 million pre-registrations.
“With Indus pre-registrations crossing 8.5 million, it’s obvious that the Indian art, culture, and stories in the game have attracted a global audience worldwide,” said Roby John, CEO of SuperGaming.
The developers have previously held multiple community tests and even an esports tournament. Now anyone can apply for beta access and try out the game themselves after getting the beta key.
“We thank all our playtest players, esports pros, and content creators for playing their part in building India’s gaming revolution with us, now it’s India’s and the world’s turn to play Indus,” John added.
Players will be able to explore the Virlok map in the Indus. As previously revealed, the game will feature multiple characters of Indian origin. The Gameplay is fast-paced, similar to Apex Legends.
While the alpha footage was a little rough, the game has come a long way in optimizations. Players can even customize their controls to suit their play style.
How to get beta access?
The beta key is in limited supply for the closed beta. Players who want to try out the game before others can apply for one at the official website. On receiving the key, players will need to redeem it.
