Salaar – Shruti Hassan drops the REAL TRUTH behind signing the Prabhas starrer Salaar movie

On December 22, 2023, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, was released in theatres. Wider praise was bestowed upon the film due to its striking visual effects, compelling narrative, and the camaraderie between Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The unexpected aspect of this movie, though, was undoubtedly Shruti Haasan.

The one who was unrelated to the violent Khansaar world was her character, Aadya. Shruti played a small but significant part. Do you know, though, Shruti’s primary motivation for accepting the movie? The response, though, is undoubtedly not what you would have anticipated. Shruti Haasan has grown quite picky about the roles she takes on.

Shuti’s candid chat about Salaar:

Haasan didn’t have a single release in 2022 because she couldn’t find a film that would be exciting enough to play the lead in. When asked why she didn’t accept the Prashanth Neel-directed film, Shruti replied that she really liked her role and that she wanted to collaborate with the director. She went on to say that her desire to collaborate with South Hollywood sensation Prabhas was one of the main reasons she accepted Salaar.

According to the actress, Prabhas has a fascinating life. In contrast to his fictional personas, he exudes coolness and composure in real life. Shruti says that Prabhas’ ability to seamlessly transition between the characters left her very impressed. Salaar’s producers released a promo video in which Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, and SS Rajamouli, known for Baahubali, were interviewed.

Rajamouli expressed his slight disappointment with Prashanth Neel for leaving out Shruti’s dance performance from the movie, citing her exceptional dancing skills as the reason. In response to Rajamouli’s compliment, the actress stated that, while she is grateful for what Rajamouli said, her main goal at this time is to play good characters. If a movie has a dance number in it, it doesn’t bother her.

Currently, Salaar has become the talk of the town. The internet is buzzing with comments and posts about the recently released film. South superstar Prabhas has made a solid comeback with this movie.
