In just 15 days to the biggest carnival of the year set to take place in India. The 2023 ODI World Cup is mere days away as ten teams vie for the biggest prize in ODI Cricket. This edition of the ODI World Cup will be held in India as the sole host. Ahead of the spectacle event the apex cricket body has released the anthem for the tournament. The anthem featured Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh who was seen grooving in the video. Cricket’s apex body has come out with this video just like the previous few years. The reason behind this move is to garner more public interest and anticipation for the start of the event.
The Apex Cricket Body on Wednesday released the official anthem of the ODI Cricket World Cup. The song was titled “Dil Jashn Bole” and it featured noted Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The video was released on Twitter and is 3 minutes 21 seconds long.

The tournament is set to kick on 5th October with the final being played on 19th November. Both (opening and finale) will be played at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. The first game of the tournament will see a repeat of the 2019 World Cup final. England, the defending champions will take on New Zealand, the runners-up from the last edition.
India begins its World Cup campaign with the game against Australia on 8th October. The last time the World Cup was hosted in the subcontinent was in 2011. India had won the tournament under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. The Indian team had beaten Sri Lanka in the final in front of a packed Mumbai crowd.
14th October will witness the biggest game of the tournament at Ahmedabad. India and Pakistan will play each other for the third time this year. The event in India also marks the first time Pakistan will be present in India for seven years. The last time Pakistan visited India was for the 2016 T20 World Cup and the fans cannot wait for the tournament to begin.
