Tendulkar loved to bat and he could go on batting for long periods of time. The former India batter had a hunger and appetite for runs like no other. When Tendulkar would score runs, he would score big and it would be in bucketfuls. He holds the record for most 150-plus scores across formats. With this wonderful record, he has another record which could be very difficult to surpass and that is the most runs in a calendar year. He scored 1894 runs in 1998.
