The tearaway pacer had a forgetful Asia Cup 2022 as he did not figure out what lengths and what lines to bowl on the hard wickets at Dubai. He just ran in and bowled every ball at high speeds without any proper direction which resulted in him getting carted all over the place.

He would not want to remember this edition of the continental tournament because he picked up just 2 wickets in the 2 games that he had played. He gave away runs at an economy of 12 runs per over and at an average of 36, which did not suit India at all as he was constantly put under pressure by the opposition batters.
