Washington Sundar has scored 233 runs and picked up 16 wickets in ODIs. He showed what he was capable of in the 50-over series against New Zealand. But it appears that he would not get a place considering the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja, who are more experienced and have higher capabilities with bat and ball. In all probability, he would be left out of the World Cup squad.
